About
wayfarer - traveler on a journey, especially on foot

Why "Wayfarers Yoga?" Because we're all on a journey through life, and yoga can lead us to the home within ourselves.

Amy Pierce earned her 200 Hour RYT certification through Three Trees Yoga and Healing Arts in Federal Way, WA. She's been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching for over 7. She created Wayfarers Yoga to offer virtual classes to her students.

"Yoga has changed my life, and it continues to shape me, both literally and figuratively. My class experience is based on the idea of growing more comfortable in your own body; finding your home within yourself; non-judgment; and working with the earth and nature as an inspiration.

Practicing yoga should be both an exceptional and an everyday experience. Exceptional in that it can bring great change, and everyday like it's as normal and regular a habit as brushing your teeth. That's when the real changes come, with time and practice. I enjoy watching my students grow and change over time, and I love being part of that transformational journey with them.

My intention is to create a space where my clients feel comfortable and cared for, as a matter of priority. Do you like going to the gym? Neither do I, and I don't approach teaching in a pitta-heavy way. If you're one of the gentle, the sensitive, the introverts, the quirky, the weird, the shy, the often overlooked, the artists, the kind, then you are my ideal student. Is that you? Then join me for a virtual class!"
